Delicious: Ingrid Michaelson Visits Rolling Stone Live

Ingrid Michaelson recently (well almost a week ago now),
dropped by the Rolling Stone Live offices and
performed beautiful acoustic versions of Parachute,
Maybe, and The Way I Am. Check it out below.
These RSL video boxes are so clunky... @_@

Delicious: Mark Ronson Confirms Producing For Rufus Wainwright & More

Mark Ronson, the devil whom Produced for
Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse, has confirmed
rumours that he is producing Rufus Wainwright's new
unnamed album. Well, in his own way. He stated:

"I don’t want to jump the gun, but I’ve an idea for Rufus.
He’s great for a producer as he offers such a great pallette."

Not sure if that means he IS, or would like to. He did
release an album no more that a year ago, so
if it is true, do not expect to see this album for awhile.

Besides Rufus, he also mentioned his projects
with The Black Lips and Daniel Merriweather.

All this tacked onto the Culture Club comeback
album he's producing! Whew. This man is the
very definition of workaholic.

Check out "Somebody To Love" with Boy George
if you haven't caught it yet. It's fabulous.

Delicious: A Wild Creatures of Love Appears!

Just stumbled onto this video (NO NOT THROUGH
STUMBLEUPON. THAT SITE HAS WASTED ENOUGH
OF MY TIME.), and their myspace. It's quite good, might
have to keep an eye on these fellows this year. If you want to know
more, a quick google search might be able to tell you
more as I'm too tired to engage in research right now. I might
bring more info later if they continue being awesome.

Anyways, check out their vid and hey, maybe you'll
like 'em too.

Delicious: Lissie Spends Some "Alone" Time With Jimmy Fallon

The hot artist on the tip of everyone's tongue
took some time to chill with Jimmy Fallon
and performed "When I'm Alone". Take a
peek, and if you dunno Lissie, learn. I
have some bets on her and a few others
to lead this year in great music.

Track O' the Day: KT Tunstall "Heal Over"

This used to be my go-to-when-gloomy-song to
mellow me out. This girl is so amazing, she can
harness so many different energies in what she plays,
it just astounds me. Her recent release is Tiger Suit, which has
some good tracks on it, my favorite being "(Still A) Weirdo"

I recommend this track on a loop
on those rainy days when you feel stuck in a
loop yourself, take a listen, be unencumbered,
read another story and make me feel better.

: )

Track O' the Day: Kate Miller-Heidke "God's Gift To Women"

Australian balladeer of Facebook angst, Kate-Miller
Heidke, is planning her first international release with
her album Curioser sometime soon this year. It has
though been out for almost 3 years now. I'm getting impatient, I
Want more of her music now, last release was Live at the Hi-Fi
in 2009! What's up Kate? I'll buy it if that's what you're worried about.
No worries!

Anyways, this song had popped into my head for some reason
today, and I couldn't get it out. So, take a listen to this cool
acoustic version and be enjoyed.

Delicious: Maroon 5 Is Tied To Their Bed (New Video!)

Maroon 5 and the insatiable Adam Levine
have released their new video for "Never Gonna
Leave This Bed". A song written for the Invisible
Pervert Man.

Just Kidding. It's a good song.

Take a look at the video and take a listen
to the acoustic version which is much better,
in my opinion.

Delicious: Britney Spears' 5 Second "Hold It Against Me" Teaser

Britbrit has released a 5 second teaser of what looks
like some freaky ass convenience store from the Matrix's
security footage. It could also be some footage from her new
video, but whatdo I know? Take a peek and be inspired.

Delicious: Patrick Stump Debuts Some Soul Punk

Patrick Stump recently took a trip to the Rolling Stone
Live for a quick interview and to show off
some of his solo skills. He's pretty good. his new
album is entitled "Soul Punk", Look for it soon,
and take a peek at the interview and vids below.

Delicious: La Roux Lets You Prevoux "Gold Edition"

Via social networking media, La Roux is allowing
the public to preview their "Gold Edition" on
MySpace music. MySpace? Really?
I wish someone would set that dead horse on fire
so that it couldn't zombify again and again and
again. And again. Ugh. Anyway,
click here to go preview, don't pre-purchase there.

Please. Please don't. Don't feed the wild animals.

Buy it anywhere else but there. I beg of you.

Track O' the Day: Brandon Flowers "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas"

Flamingo was Mr. Flowers' first solo album released
on September 14th, 2010. If you don't know who Mr.
Flowers is, he is the front man to The Killers.
The music from his solo album is fabulous. This
particular song is great.

As of now, he's expecting his third child with his lovely wife,
and as of May, Mr. Flowers has stated that that The
Killers will "reconvene" and begin working on an other
studio album and maybe make some appearances
at some festivals. We'll see what happens.

Take a listen, be mormon-ized, take a shower,
come back, and start your anticipengines.

Revisiting: The White Stripes Say Goodbye

It was announced yesterday on Feb. 2nd that the
magnanimous duo have broken up. The whole

Jack White didn't just have The White Stripes, continue
to watch The Dead Weather, you guys. He's also
rumoured to have another future project called
Rome. Don't know much about it except
it's supposed to include Norah Jones.

As for Meg, I'm not sure what she'll be up to,
she'll continue to blow up drums and ears
everywhere somehow, hopefully.

Let's take a moment of silence, and then
blow up your speakers with these classic
videos, even though you probably already have
them on your media player of choice.

Delicious: Tinie Tempah Debuts in the US on Terrible Show (He's Good Though)

Tinie Tempah makes his US debut appearance on Jimmy
Kimmel! Good for your debut, but couldn't you have been
on something like Conana or Craig Ferguson? Something
that isn't hosted by one of the biggest douchebags
in American history? Oh well, take a watch at his
kick ass performance and enjoy.

Delicious: Patrick Stump Remembers Michael Jackson

Mr. Stump worked with MJ a couple times
so it's no surprise he posted this. So far,
he's riding the interweb waves for traffic
for his new music. He's doing most of this stuff
himself as well. I still miss his old looks, he
was adorable. Now he seems like a cookie
cutter scene kid. Anyways, take a listen
to this cool tribute medley, be awed, wait
for another Phenom post.

Delicious: Ms. Spears Twitters New Album Info

Ms. Spears is keeping up the trend of banging
her music info into the social network web. I
guess she learned from Conan. It's working
though. I was debating whether or not to bother
posting this, because it's all over everywhere.
I went to 7/11 and the guy behind the counter
already had a shirt with this on it.

...

Not really, but it's like that.

Delicious: Lil Wayne and Mike Posner Make Porn Sounds Together

Mike Posner has recruited Lil Wayne for his new
single "Bow Chicka Wow Wow". Quite honestly,
this track to me is mediocre. I actually think I'd enjoy
Mr. Posner more if I saw him live. Anyways, take a listen
and decide for yourself. I'm just reporting and
delivering, what I like and don't like, may not be
what you like and don't like. Enjoy.

Delicious: Lady Gaga "Scheiße (Extended Remix)"

Remember that wacky vid from before? Take a listen
to this extended remix, it's grandiose. It almost
has a God Complex all in its own, despite its
vulgar name. Anyway, this hit the web a couple
days ago when I was blacklisted by the heavens
themselves so do forgive me if I'm behind the times.

Revitalized: Ani Difranco New Summer Album

Through unknown sources (atm), it is rumoured that
the soapbox massacring Miss. Difranco will
be releasing a brand new album this summer entitled
"Which Side Are You On?", her first LP in around
2 years.

I'm half-assing this and just posting a random Ani
song, take a listen, be reacquainted, start
your anticipengines. Yeah, that's right. I make up
words like Sarah Palin.

Track O' the Day, Double Dose: Duffy "Well, Well, Well" & Jem "Save Me"

I have so much to catch up on. Internet was down yesterday
thanks to The Great Blizzard 2011. So here's a double dose
of TotD. First up is Duffy's single "Well, Well, Well" which I
fell in love with from her new album Endlessly. The rest
of the album was ok... I loved her first one, so maybe I
was expecting too much from her.

The second is Jem. No, not the crazy cartoon, this girl:

This popped up on Pandora and reminded
me she existed. There's something about being
Welsh and being awesome. Two in the same I think
Two sides of the same coin. She reminds me a lot
of Imogen Heap, so I like her. Take a listen to
"Save Me" and be enjoyed.

Delicious: Sara Bareilles "Yellow (Coldplay Cover)"

Two of my favorites, Coldplay and Ms. Bareilles,
saw this on a fellow blog, and had to continue
sharing. Would love to see her do this live.
Take a listen and be enjoyed.

Track O' the Day: Katy Perry "ET (Tiesto Remix)"

I wasn't a big fan of this song from her
new album. I'm not excited this is the mew single either,
not to mention I don't think it deserves a video.

Tiesto has though made it bearable. I'm lovin
this remix. Tiesto can turn anything into magic.

Take a listen and abuse that replay button,
you know you want to.

Revitalized: Aqua Breathes Again This Summer

Wanna go party?

The Danish-Norwegian pop magicians were rumoured
to have a new album last year in 2010, but
this news comes straight from their social networking
mouths. They've announced,

"We can now confirm that we're indeed working on
brand new Aqua album to be released this summer
in connection with our 2011 tour."

These people imprinted in our brain some
of the catchiest songs ever. I can't see this
going too bad. All those little pop princesses (Ke$ha,
Rihanna, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber) around now better hold
on to their chart positionsfor dear life. Otherwise they
might feel a very painful fall once Aqua bubbles again.

Be reacquainted with their craziness now with
a couple songs, and let the antici........pation begin.

Track O' the Day: Cher - Last of Me

Just barely saw Burlesque last night, and I'm not
a movie critic blog, so I won't voice my opinion of the film.
Except that a lot of it seemed like filler. Also, at points it
dragged on and on. Also, it didn't use Alan Cumming to his
full potential. He seemed like an extra. Cher
was great. Of course. Anyways, this song won
Cher a Golden Globe. Thank you Diane Warren!

Cher apparently had to fight to keep the song
in the film. I thought Cher stole the show from
Xtina. Xtina's character just seemed cliche'd
and very typical. It was an alright film.

I feel terrible because
her last Las Vegas show is February 5th, and
no way I'm seeing it. :' (
If you can, go do it. Like, now. Go
wait in line. Now. Well, after watching this video.
Anyways take a listen to the Golden Globe's
BEST SONG. I know I will.
